using Authlogic and SMF

Hello.

I am looking for the way to make a user authentification, supposedly using Authlogic, based on the existing SMF userbase.
Does anyone have any ideas? Where could I start?

The way is found. I need to turn SMF to the openid endpoint and use openid authentification in Authlogic.
