Go to the link then register on their forum exactly as you did here.

Have a look round and see if there is a section on starting a forum as you did here and hopefully someone will be able to help.

EDIT: I see the good Doctor has beaten me to it.

Doc Marlborough is also 15.

Install a mod call simpleportal (or other portal mod). Here is the mod link: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1104.

You have to download it first. After that, use package manager in your forum Admin Center to upload and install it.

Under Admin Menu > Packages > Download Packages

TheListener

Gotcha.

Have a look at the link and do a search for portal.

The best one in my personal opinion for you would be the simple portal mod which can also be found at www.simpleportal.net

have a look at the second link first and see what you think of the general layout.

Also

On the host forum see if there is anything there about simple portal.

Bingham

Err Two of them what one shall i use?

Hj Ahmad Rasyid Hj Ismail

Both are the same. Just follow my link above, and you'll be fine.

Bingham

Err do i need a file to open it such as winra or somink or just open it with moz?

Hj Ahmad Rasyid Hj Ismail

No. Just download it as it is. And upload it as instructed above i.e. via package manager in your forum. Once uploaded, you'll see an option to install.

On the mods page on the top right you will see the package manager.

The link there is the file you want so download it ( should go where your downloads go)/

Once there report back.

  SimplePortal_2.3.2.zip    (279kB)    [6180]

9 out of 10 times it will be the most recent version on the list which you require.

That is the latest as shown in the mod page. 2.3.2. So yes, download that.

Bingham

downloaded but i can find the admin thingy :S

Hj Ahmad Rasyid Hj Ismail

If you log in your forum you will see your forum menu. In between them is admin. Scroll your mouse to that menu and you will find packages. Click that and it will bring you to package manager. In it there is another sub menu for package manager where you can find download packages. Click that and it will bring you to the page where at the bottom of it you can upload your simpleportal file you just downloaded.

Bingham

it has only fetures and permissions :S

Hj Ahmad Rasyid Hj Ismail

Try to click admin itself. You should see admin menu like: Main  Configuration  Forum etc... Click Main and you should see Packages there.

Bingham

nope :S errr wot to do..
