So, there is no solution except totally refuse to https or install old version of mod? There weren't any problems on previous versions of mod (4.1.1 and below).

But with old version of Simple Audio Video Embedder coubs worked perfectly. And if I use https in URL (tried to do it right now) it is change nothing - coubs still doesn`t works
So, I think problem is not in https but in mod itself.

It shouldn't make a difference you can try the old version but it shouldn't change that at all.

I think this is the problem I'm running into too.

We migrated to https and at the same time update from SMF 2.0.12 to 2.0.14
We are also using Simple Audio Video Embedder 2.1.1

Youtube video's no longer load in the post.

Do I have any options to get Simple Audio Video Embedder to work with https?
If I remove Simple Audio Video Embedder will it simply show the youtube URL links in our old post again?

They should all work fine with https

For example I use this youtube video link.

You can see in my attachment how it just leaves a big blank space in the post instead of showing the Embedded video.

I only have 2 Youtube boxes and they are both checked.

Yes, I'm not running the latest version, but it had always worked for me until we got upgraded from SMF 2.0.12 to 2.0.14
Now none of the past post show any youtube videos?
Should I just try updating the mod first?
If so do I need to try and remove my old version first or will simply installing the latest version of the mod take care of everything?

Yes.

Uninstall then install the latest. The latest was updated for 2.0.14 ...

Yes I also recommend keeping the versions updated. It includes bug fixes and latest regex updates.

I tried installing a fresh version of SMF and then downloaded a new copy of the mod just to make sure it was not something else breaking it and still did not work for me. It very well could be how I am putting the link in the post, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
