Dear vbgamer45;

Thank you very much for this mod. I have a question. Do you have a plan to make a develop to allow users embedding media files in attachments on their posts? What did I mean? Say, I create a new post (or reply one) and attach a mp3 file, then send it. The mp3 player seems in my post and ready to play my mp3 (attachment) file after I send my post.

I was searching for a way to display certain language subtitle by default on youtube videos (using just an url, not embeding html codes*)... and found this:

So........ it looks simple and it would be really nice to have an option (dropdown input), where we can select our desired language to be used as default caption on youtube embeded videos... and adding &cc_load_policy=1 to the embed code will force it

btw, currently CC (subtitles) are not showed at all on SAVE embeded videos... rigth?

* someone knows a way to do that!?!?

All video URLs are like this:

Their embed code looks like this:

All their video have "sm" and then a series of numbers as their video ID in their URL.

I don't know if they've switched from one to the other, adding the /v/ option should do the trick.

I am greener than green on this stuff and using the free version of the simple machine, but trying to learn on the fly. I have a forum set up and now trying to install this vid mod. I downloaded it and (like I said, new to this..so be gentle), I need instructions on how to install it. I went with this one over the Aeva because of the possibility of no support. Opinions? Thanks for any help. Kind of staring at it now for half hour now with little luck.

To install just use the package manager. Then after installed. Go to Simple Audio Video Embeder settings and choose which sites you wish to embed.

Yeah..It sounded too easy and it seems it is, just I don't have a package manager anywhere in my admin. tools..just went though all of it for the 10th time. Is it included on the free forum?
