   Running Simple Audio Video Embedder 1.0.9 in 1.1.16

Do I have to uninstall it before loading the new version 2.0.6 with package manager?

I'm using I-Style from graphicjunki.

I installed it but YouTube links are shown like any other link. Videos are not being embedded.

EDIT: Nevermind. It was a setting problem. It wasn't activated -.-

Hello, thanks for this Mod.

I made a slight modification, that I needed for my forum. I put a checkbox in the user profile page, to enable/disable the emebeding.
That way every user can choose to disable it, because embeding videos can make loading threads very painful for users with slower computers.
The modification is only for 2.x versions, but it's probably not hard to make it work for 1.x too.

I'm not sure if this is the proper way of doing it but I attached a .patch file if you want to maybe include it in future versions, or if someone else might want such 'feature'

When it comes to local files, is there a way to change the dimensions on a per file basis, i.e. some sort of short code in the post, or the only way is through the Admin settings?

There currently is no shortcodes. You could manually update the database for a specific video site then update the media cache and that would cause it take affect.

In case this could be useful for somebody else, in order to customize size on a per post basis, for wmv files for example, I use this code (within html tags of course). Simply enter your URL in the 2 YOUR_URL instances and change the size at will in the two WIDTH="800" HEIGHT="575" instances.

If you want it to autostart, change autostart from false to true in the first instance and from 0 to 1 in the second.
