Seems to work responsively in Ohara, but having all kinds of errors with current version and am trying yours.  Will play with css a bit when I get a chance.

I inserted an iframe CSS code into index.css to make videos and other media sort of responsive, so that none of them would go off-screen.

Got Ohara working without errors, videos seem to be fully responsive.  Will stay with that for now.

I've been using SAVE for years. Also using my own PDF embedder which I'm not going to give up on yet.

The trick I've found embedding PDF's is if your site is using HTTPS and you want to link to a PDF on a non-secure HTTP site, then instead of http://blahblah... then instead just use //blahblah... It works. It might not with SAVE PDF's, but it's worth a try because it does work with other embedding.


My Current Problem is SAVE not embedding video for Guests. I'm assuming that if it's not an option to change, then it's a conflict that will just have to be taken care of with the eventual upgrade from SMF2.0 to SMF2.1?

You know what using // does? It means "try to connect to this site using the same security as the other site", as in it'll try to load the PDF over HTTPS.

Hi, I'm quite new to Facebook, and might be doing something wrong, but when I try to share a post from a group on my Forum using the share button at the bottom of the post, the resulting URL, which takes this format:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/000000000/permalink/0000000000000000/

does not render, just displays a clickable URL. Using current version of mod, all checkboxes for sources ticked.

I don't believe those link urls are supported currently.
What is supported is facebook video links

Hi all,
My forum is 2.1.3, Simple Audio Video Embedder v7.0.1 is installed and it says it supports Rutube.
But, it is not entirely clear how to end up embedding a video from Rutube.
For example, when I paste Youtube video link, a player automatically appears in the message. It's comfortable.
But, when I paste Rutube video link, it's just a link. The video cannot be viewed on the forum.
Does anyone know how to embed Rutube video?
(Rutube is also enabled in Embedder's admin panel settings)

Hi there, I have recently taken over running a couple of SMF forums for a recently deceased friend and one of the forums, has been running ver' 2.0.11 with version 3.6.2 of this Mod' installed.

I recently 'Patched' it to ver' 2.0.19 and will shortly (I hope), take it to 2.1.14.

Being still somewhat New to all things SMF, I was simply wondering whether I should uninstall and delee the older version of this Mod Prior to installing this latest version on 2.0.19.

Am also wondering what the best course of action would be when upgrading to 2.1.14 ??

Any help or avice will be greatly appreciated,.. thanks, in advance

For that old of a version I suggest uninstall then install new.
Normally if it is just a video update you don't need a fully uninstall.

I have Uninstalled the older version and will set about (attempting) to install the New version    , after we have upgraded the forum to 2.1.14.
