Weird problem with username / inability to send a PM

 I have a member with the "Name" (not "Username") 

Ohiograndpa... "EL"

When sending a PM, I get the error....

Unable to find member 'ohiograndpa...'.
Unable to find member 'el""'.

Is there some weird problem with using quotes in a Name?

Yes, unfortunately there is. When sending personal messages to multiple users, SMF 1.1.x uses " , " to separate them. However, if there are double or singequotes in the postername, it gets confused and can't find the members next in line.

I have tried searching for a fix, but unfortunately none came up. However, this is bypassed in 2.0.x.
