Hi all,

I wanted to ask if there is a solution to the conversion of vBulletin 4 to SMF?
I have vB 4.0.6 and have allot of problems with it.
One of the major problems we have is a hacker who loves my board very much. 
Last week he took down a lot of site's on the server we share.
The day before yesterday he came back again...

The only thing vB does is point the finger to my host.
They have followed every step that vB told us to secure the board.
And still the hacker gets in.
So we believe that there is a big hole in the vB software.

Now i am looking for other board software where we can add mods easy and where the mods are checked!

If vB pointing your host , change your host not your Forum Type ...

vB always points to the host and never to themselves...

But back to my original question...
Any news on the conversion tool?

You can use latest converter to convert your forum but it has bug not converting attachments ...

So if we would change now we would lose only the attachments?

This is not so bad as i thought...
Maybe i should talk to my host then about converting.

I think my members can live with that.
Better than with a hacker lurking around waiting for his chance to do his 'work' again...
When forum is back on-line i will present this to my members as well.
