Forum Customization Services - who to consider?

Hi,

As I'm not the most creative or technical individual, and my forum is basic, I'm considering using a 3rd party service to help me customize my forum even further.   What SMF customization services are out there to consider?  I'm not looking for a ground-up build, but instead adding more functionality and creative to my forum.  Please advise.
