Thought this was just a problem of mine, but I see the same issue on the SMF community forum as well so pretty sure it's a bug. With SMF 2.0c and using the YABB classic theme when viewing the unread posts (?action=unread), there are options option for Mark selected read and All Unread Topics that should have a picture. However, they don't appear to be included with install.

Below is the img code pointing to the image on my forum. Since I needed these images for my forum I've also attached my versions of these buttons. I feel they match the same scheme as YaBB so feel free to include them if you so desire.

YaBB will not be part of the final release of SMF2. I'm not even sure it's still part of RC3.

Kindred

it is not part of any 2.0 release, to the best of my knowledge...

its in the upgrade packages for rc2 and rc3 i think

Akyhne

Hmm, it is actually part of RC3 and back, but still it won't be part of SMF2. I'm pretty sure it's not in the latest SVN's.

Not of RC3 for sure. I just downloaded full install package and YABB theme is not in it.

SMF 2.0 will only ship with Curve and Core, yes.

Joker: you're right, though oddly enough, I think you can find it in RC3 upgrade packages. It won't be shipped with the main package at all, though, in RC4 and final.

We do intend to have these themes, which used to be in SMF, supported as best as possible, in the limit of our time, as external themes though. (downloadable from the theme site). I think filing bugs against them is okay... Not sure though, when we can take the time for them.

Just downloaded the full pack for test site (as mine has became crap :P), so missed out update packages. Thanks for the information :).

May be because the full upgrade package is supposed to upgrade from 1.1.11 which have that theme.

Norv

Yes, I think so. To try to support who has it. However it is not supposed to be part of the main package - unfortunately the version included in the RC3 upgrade package is very buggy afaik... -; instead, it will be fixed when possible (with its own release schedule), and made available, updated, on the theme site, just like any other theme which is a custom theme. They all need to be updated by the admin when necessary. Only, these themes will be supported by the SMF customize or development team, not by third party authors.

Thanks everyone for the reply. Sad to hear that it's getting dropped, but can definitely understand. Been using the YaBB classic since I migrated from YaBB several years ago.

Excellent, will look into it further. I'm still on the fence about maybe just converting over to the SMF theme. I think in the end it'd be a lot less hassle with not having to modify multiple themes.

Akyhne

The theme IS Curve with as little changes as possible.
