Thanks navarretemarce, it did display straight away in the header... not quite the way I intended  but  thats a big improvement. I will play around with it until it suits me.

This is in the error log. Usually less than 20 logged in users (total 200). Dont like to see so many error messages logged. I guess it doesn't impact on server performance?

About 16,000 to 20,000 errors per day.
I uninstalled enotify, cleaned out the cache but its keeps refering to it. Other actions are also causing ...just noticed.

I used the language menu on a custom template with the following edit in the index.template file
The language options show up in the area of the menu to the right ... suite me fine there but is that causing trouble?

It does actually, that's 20k queries that don't need to be made.

Instead of the line 55 you have there:

Hello, i did some hardcoding and modified SMF 2 RC.5 core to support translating category names, board names and description. It works with this mod, as a matter of fact it works only with this mod properly.

Features:

• Translated names for categories and boards in Modifications.language files
• Translation based on category and board id, you need to modify only 1 non-language file to add new categories or boards
• IDs of boards and categories can be found in DB (or in html source on main index page)

i have figured out the problem ad I am posting to let everyone know.  the language mod is excellent and there is nothing wrong with it.  i am using the colorizeit templates.

the problem is in the index.css file.  what you need to do is copy all the code from default theme index.css and paste over the custom index.css file.  this solves all of the problems.

Works fine on 2.0.2.
You probably didnt get the manual edits right if you are using a custom theme. Or you are using other mods affecting similar position.
