Hey donnipop, don't attach the dump file to your post, but send an email to JimM instead. You'll find his mailaddress in his sig. Your database contains private information on your members, as well as content you'd probably don't want to share.

of cause I sent file to JimM's email to dump file to my post.

OK.  Took a look at your SQL file and it is not 2.0RC3.  Instead is is 1.1.x.  The database will need to be upgraded before you can upgrade the forum.  You might be able to import the members table into a test 1.1.12 database and then upgrade it that way.

OK I'll try to install smf 1.1.12 then import members table into database
if it OK then upgrade it to be 2.0RC3

Thank you.

After I install smf 1.1.12 and import members table into database it OK
I found all of members in database ( query on phpmyadmin ) but when I logged smf that I'm admin
I go to members section to check members data. Why data show me in members section is not equal in database?

members in database : 284 Items
data show in members section of smf ("View all members") : 30 Items

I try to use "Search for members" to search some user that I found in database it's OK smf show me after I search
but I surprised why many members not show on "View all members".

Thank you.

JimM

After you import the members table, try running the maintenance options from the admin control panel.  Also take a look at the structure of the members table to insure that your next auto increment number is set to 285.  You should be able to see that with phpMyAdmin.   From the structure page, scroll to the bottom and click on Details.

Hi JimM, now I can see all of members in "View all members" I think it's OK and I test by register new member
in my smf that id number to be 285.

Another question, field "posts" show me total post of each members. May I should change it to be zero ?
because I install new smf  so nobody post in this smf now. I worry it'll defect my smf.

Now can I upgrade it to be 2.0 ?

Thank you.

JimM

If you only imported the members table then I would think you would want to reset all those to the same value that a new member would have just after registering.

Yes, you should be able to run the upgrade now.
