New at this - the wierdest thing keeps happeneing when trying to install

Ive uploaded everything to my host

Placed it in a folder called community

and when i follow the community/install.php link..

the file literally opens in Dreamweaver on my machine?

that sounds as if you have your browser pointing to your local machine and not the WWW

Im following the www.***.co.uk/community/install.php link

and it just sais dreamweaver is the standard program for php

then you need to find out how on your system to put the standard program for php back to your browser not dreamweaver.

Just sorted it out so that explorer opens it up.

So if i visit the url.. it asks me if i wish to open or save install.php

i opt for open - a new internet explorer pops up

loads for a second - then asks me the same quetion - do i wish to open or save install.php

ive tried all options it offers and it goes around in circles :S

Did you upload your files using FTP?
