Upgraded from 1.1.11 to 1.1.12 then crashed back to 1.1.11

Hi,
I upgraded yesterday from 1.1.11 to 1.1.12 and had to manually edit a few files. All was working fine When I was done I made a backup which is on a file called  "blah-blah-data.sql" and it is a GZ file type.
My site crashed today for an unrelated reason and my host was able to get me back up with a copy of my database from yesterday and I'm back to vers. 1.1.11. Do I need to go thru the upgrade again or can this sql type GZ file do something and how would I do that?

The changes made by 1.1.12 were to your forum files.  These are the files in your public_html or httpdocs directory.  If you made a backup of those after doing the upgrade, you should be able to restore those files.  If your host restored them from a backup, you will need to run the update again.  This update did not change the database.
