Thank you for this wonderful theme. 

I would like to replace the "simple machines forum" with my own slogan url, but in the current theme admin it only allows text.

Also, I would like to change the Captain America to an eagle image that i have, and the simpons to something like eagles I guess.  I really like the eagles!

the simpsons icons are in  the icons folder you just have to replace theme (they are in .png format)

And as for the slogan this is a feature of smf, your could simply remove

And link your image where it says in the admin panel under current theme, or you can alter the above code and point it to your logo

Ok well, you can see what I did,  had to type something into the text line (the letter "l") and pasted a bigger logo in the place where you copy your url.

What about Captain America is he in icons folder too?

if you have a slogan it overwrites the logo

in Admin - Current theme you see

Site slogan: < in here just press your space bar that it nothing else
Logo image URL: < in here put the full url to your logo for exampple http://www.example.com/Themes/default/images/logo.png

Now where is the captain American image located?

you would want to replace the on2.png image or alternativley use Indicator Changer  mod that allows you to change all thise images simply.

Okay got it installed looks good!

I need to upgrade from 2.0rc4 to 2.0.1.  Will I still need to download indicator change to change my icons again?

Okay I upgraded successfully.  Only one error.  The quick reply box goes on forever.  Would that be a theme issue?
