hhheeeelllpppp rc4 upgrade

Right folks i been a tw*t i uploaded the rc4 upgrade to go from rc3 to rc4 and like a nerd i unzipped it in the main folder not in a seperate one er duh me

and you guessed right it dont work

i hvent touched the database etc

is it possible to fix this some how or to put a clean install using the existing database to save all the posts and member details etc  or have i totaly screwed it up

forgot to add when i go to the web addy all i get is:-

the method of updating is to extract the archive to your server and run the upgrade.php script, it sounds like you have dont have all files in place. please do a database backup first then attempt the upgrade again. as long as you have the database backup you can restore the forum.

How do I backup my database?

I agree.  It sounds like you might want to make sure all the files were uploaded and then run the upgrade.php.  Let us know if you get any errors when running the upgrade.php.
