Hey, can someone help me with an issure I have?

Ok, so when I download a theme for v1.1.12 - RC4 most seem to work ok, but all of them I download dont have any buttons, such as "Home, Search, Login< Forum<" etc.. is there something I'm doing wrong?

note: I am downloading the correct theme version.

No, you aren't getting the correct theme version. There is no such thing as 1.1.12-RC4. There are two current builds of SMF. One is 1.1.12 and the other is SMF 2.0 RC4. The theme structure is vastly different between them.

1.1.x themes call the menu buttons from index.template.php while 2.0 RC4 themes call the menu from Sources/Subs.php. This means that if you attempt to use an RC4 theme in 1.1.x there will be no menu, because the 1.1.x Subs.php contains no menu code.
