I just managed to reinstall/upgrade my forum on a new server.  Overnight, before I got it sorted, several spammers registered and posted.

I have deleted the spammers and their posts, but there is still a spammer listed as the "latest member" in the forum stats box on the main page (clicking on the name gives an error of no such member).

How do I get rid of it?

It seems to have sorted itself out on its own today.

I was going to say if you deleted them from within the admin area, then your browser must be caching the page.  I guess that is what happened.  I'll go ahead and mark this one as solved.
