Hello hello,

I am having problems, SMF keeps posting that message but the directory is right (I think of course).

here is my URL:
battleofthebrick.com

I have reinstalled everything. I have used the repair_settings.php a few times. I have changed the settings in the forum a ton of times with no luck.

I use media temple if that matters at all. (with grid service you have to delete part of the URL for your domain paths)

Thank you for any help!
Adam

edit- should i be running the RC4 or 1.1.12?

Illori

theme directory should be where it is on your server, not where it is on the website. you can run either RC4 or 1.1.12.

Thank you for the help but I am not sure what you mean. Is it one of the three directories I posed?

BTW Simple forum looks awesome! I've checked out the other free forum software and by far this looks the cleanest.  :D

Thank you again!
Adam

Yup did it a few times, my site is using the one theme in the folder.

Illori I was thinking about what you said again. The first time I read that it didn't make sense. Here is the weird thing about MediaTemple, they use sub-folders for the domains. But when you use the long subfolder URL it doesn't show the content.

Anyone else with media temple have this problem? I am a mega-noob by the way  :o

edit-So when i used the repair.php I changed all my directories to account for the media temple sub folders (erasing the extras stuff). So those where right (i think). But the SMF Directory and the Sources Directory settings tab want to show the extra stuff from media temple. When I alter it and hit save, it reverts back.

I think I will upgrade to 4.0 and see if that helps.

check what path your other themes have, repair_settings.php may not be updating the other themes paths correctly.

Last one should be absolute path , not a link

You can find your path in ACP > Server Settings > SMF Directory
