New to this 1.1.6

Okay I'm having a little trouble installing the Tiny Portal to my smf1.1.6 site, I would upgrade but I have access to some rather unique scripts that I don't know will function with a new version. I am also looking to remove the header image on a premade theme and replace it with my own.

This is the first site I've ever begun to do myself, I have however been a forum rat/ admin in many many smf sites, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

i dont know where you found smf 1.1.6 but the latest is 1.1.12 please update then try the package install again then.

Okay I'm having a little trouble installing the Tiny Portal to my smf1.1.6 site.

As the mod's page says, quite specifically, "Compatible With: 1.1.12, 2.0 RC3, 2.0 RC4", installing it on SMF v1.1.6 is gonna make everything go "Phut!".

These "Unique scripts"... can't they be used with v1.1.12, for some reason?

I'm not entirely positive, I imagine I'll be doing a little more checking, as the forum has only been up since yesterday.

Also it's prudent to consider that version 1.1.6 has known security vulnerabilities that have all been prevented in the most current version.  In fact that is the main reason for subsequent releases.  Upgrading to 1.1.12 should be your top priority and as K@ mentioned, then you may not have the issues with TinyPortal.
