Upgrading to 1.1.12 from 1.1.2

Yes, our message board is a few versions behind. 

We are currently running 1.1.2 and what I needed to know is there any special considerations I need to take into account, if we are to upgrade to 1.1.12?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Make a backup of your database first.

For a start make a backup copy of your entire site before you start anything that way if there are any problems you can revert.

Also mods may be lost due to an overwrite of certain files.

I was just concerned about going from 1.1.2 >>> 1.1.12.   That's a few versions in one jump.

Were you able to complete the upgrade?  With that many versions I would suggest using the large upgrade package so that you only have to do it once.
