I keep getting this error when trying to read new replies to your posts on the site here.  (Not my site, but simplemachines.org)

An Error Has Occurred!
The server is currently under high stress. Please try again shortly.

Been getting this all afternoon.  However, the unread posts since last visit isn't pulling the error.

We've been getting that, for a while, as it 'appens.

We're hoping that the repairs that were made, a little earlier, will fix it.

Although, it IS still happening, at the moment.

OK, I recently got the other error that said that the server was too stressed and to try again a few minutes later.  This wasn't on an SMF page, but a plain white page. Good luck.

I've been getting it all over the place.

Seems OK, today, though.

It happens when SMF reaches a certain level of server activity, and is meant to save resources to prevent the server from crashing under a high load.

Most likely this is due to the fact that the servers are playing catch up from when they went offline.
