How do I add another link to the area where it had Home, Help, search, Profile, My messages, Calendar, Members, Logout.  i would like to add a link in there to take me back to my Main page of my website out of forum?

How do you add custom tabs to the Core (default) theme menu?
That should help

install the mod and go to the Modification Settings/Custom buttons settings and add you button put /index.php in the second box and in the first Home

You just took it that way. It certainly wasn't meant as "Smart-ass".

i did some research and found it has not been asked eigh zillion times at all


the correct figure is   31 zillion and 21 times

This MOD is not working well for 2.0 R3.

The new menu or link only shows while I am logged in as admin. and does not show when you log in as a user. Any solution? This would have been a very helpful MOD.

And here is another mod to rearrange the buttons to suit your needs you can also hide buttons too.

you need to set permissions for each one so you can make an admin one if you want

Thanks for the reply. But what does this really mean? How and where do you set permission? There is nothing like setting permission in the MOD., or is there another part of the software I need to go?

My problem really is that after installing the MOD and inserting my first link, the link is visible on the top menu while I am signed in as administrator. But immediately I sign out as administrator and sign in as a user, the link is no more visible. I will really appreciate a more detailed explanation as to how to solve this problem. My version is 2.0 RC3.

under members you will see permissions
there you will edit each groups permissions
look for Custom Button Permissions check each one that you want for that group

like group mods can have access to

Show members from this group custom button 5
only or what ever
