SMF 2.0 RC3 Modify Post Problem

The only thing that happens when you click the modify icon above the IP address, regardless of the browser, is a bar opens across the top of the browser that says "Loading...", stays for about 1 second, then disappears.  It does not allow you to modify the post.  I just tested it again in both IE8 and FF and its the same thing.

That is exactly what I'd expect. The Loading bar is triggered by a call to ajax_indicator() to indicate that there is a request being made to the server, the server responds, the loading bar is closed - but the response is somehow invalid - which triggers the issues you've mentioned.

No solution yet? I am experiencing the same issue in SMF 2.02.  Will it ever be fixed?

This is NOT a bug in 2.0.2 as far as I can tell. Most probably you have something else wrong in the coding, breaking the JS.
