Posting a link to your website might help.
Did you install any a mod/theme recently?

PortaMx is probably the best SMF portal!

I know that to you think this is urgent, but you have to understand that in this community all the people that help do it on their own free time.

can you attach your Sources/ManageSettings.php

Bigguy

In the ManageSettings.php file there are two instances of:

modifyguestnotificationsettings()

remove one and the error should be gone.

Cario Blingz

i have done that, this is what am seeing now

Put this on the end of your url:

index.php?theme=1

so your url would be:

http://www.gurusbase.com/index.php?theme=1

Cario Blingz

it works. but does it mean i will be logging in through that link

Cario Blingz

am trying to log in now and this what it displayed

Template Parse Error!
There was a problem loading the /Themes/epic/index.template.php template or language file. Please check the syntax and try again - remember, single quotes (') often have to be escaped with a slash (\). To see more specific error information from PHP, try accessing the file directly.

You may want to try to refresh this page or use the default theme.
syntax error, unexpected $end

Bigguy

Please upload this file and I will check it out:

index.template.php

from your theme folder "Epic"

I have to go soon but I will stay as long as I can to help you out.

Cario Blingz

thanks................ let me do that

Cario Blingz

please am confused here how do i upload that

index.template.php

cause am not seeing it there

please give me the steps

Tyrsson

Most likely a theme file in a custom theme that has a syntax error, can you modify your php.ini file or can you please attach a copy of the top level index.php file so that someone can add the code to turn on php error reporting. If the custom theme you are using only has a couple files then you can attach those and someone can try to fix the code so it will not error.
PM at your own risk, some I answer, if they are interesting, some I ignore.

Bigguy

#45
If you don't see it in that folder then there will be one in the default theme folder. Please upload that one a long with the one Tyrsson™ has said
