smf_members resets to 1000000

I'm having an issue with the smf_members table. It seems to be resetting to 1,000,000 even after altering the table's auto increment value to where it should be. I'm running 2.0RC4. The SQL command to reset the increment to its correct number is

ALTER TABLE smf_members AUTO_INCREMENT=1812

But then when I register a test member, it gives it the id of 1000000. It was working fine until I upgraded to RC4, I'm wondering if this is new, a bug, or something conflicting. If it is, where is the query that inserts the member? I assume it would just go off the auto_increment value. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Or you can try this (make complete backup of your database before trying this)

Open your forum database using phpmyadmin.

- Click on members tables.
- click on operation tab
- See the field I've marked in red in screen shot, and put the value from where you want to start the auto increment counter.
