How do I upgrade RC4 to RC5

I have 2.0 RC4 (with the new security update)

1) I have a backup of my database and files

2) I have modded 4 php files (small mods and I have backups of those files) and I have documented all my changes in TEXT files

4) I want to delete the contents of my package folder

5) I want to do a big upgrade and make sure all the php files get over written

6) I want to reinstall all my mods

7) I want to re-edit those four php files

So how would I go about doing this?

What files do I need to download?

Do I run the new install.php file or do I have to download and run repair_settings.php

I want the upgrade to be successful and easy.

Thanks for any help

To overwrite your entire forum directory and upgrade to RC5, use the RC5 Large Upgrade package (found on the Downloads page), and make sure to follow the instructions found here.

This is, of course, if I understand you correctly.

That was perfect... what do you think about step 4 above before the upgrade, I should make the RC4 appear to have no mods installed, before the upgrade making it a little better when I over write all the php files, of-course, I will reinstall all the mods 1 by 1 after the upgrade.... is this the best logic to use?

Thanks

It shouldn't matter too much if you're using the Large Upgrade since it will overwrite all of the files anyway, though in my experience it has been easier to reinstall the Mods if you uninstall them prior to upgrading.
