Will installing just the security fix make me loose all mod's?
Where is the install for the security fix and how do I install?

It should not break any themes or Mods, as per the announcement (see here). Here is a link to download the patch:

Just run it through the Package Manager like you would any other Mod.

Actually, it does break RC4 themes, for one place in the admin panel. But it's really simple to fix.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that problem applies only to the actual upgrade from RC4 to RC5, not to the security patch, doesn't it? I may be wrong though; just going off of what I've seen in the support boards and the announcement post for RC5.

Unless you are upgrading from RC4 to RC5 IMO the security update patch for RC4 won't make you loose all your mods. You will see what changes that the package intend to make when you are installing it. I only remember it changes one template and few files only. Just go to your package manager and you will see the notification. Just click its link to install.

You're right. Although the post is SMF2RC4 to SMF2RC5, not SMF2RC4 Security Patch :P So, upgrading to RC5 does have an issue with themes in one place. Although the security patch is still RC4, so it doesn't cause any issues.
