Hi guys,

Here's my current version:

Forum version: SMF 1.1.11
Current SMF version: SMF 1.1.13

Sources: 1.1.11 (my version) ..... 1.1.9 (current version)
Default templates: 1.1 ..... 1.1.9
Language files: 1.1  ..... 1.1.8
Current templates: 1.1 ..... 1.1.12

I'm using a custom template and lots of mods.  I want to upgrade using the admin feature, but I'm worried I'll lose my mods or other stuff.  Can someone tell me how I should go about this?  Also, are the versions for sources, deafault templates, etc automotically upgraded as part of the upgrade or do I need to do that manually?

Thanks!

Illori

as long as you use the package manager upgrades you should not loose anything.

Coon

OK, I went from 1.1.11 to 1.1.12 without any trouble.  But when I try to do 1.1.12 to 1.1.13, I get the following:

!!
Error in Package Installation
At least one error was encountered during a test installation of this package. It is strongly recommended that you do not continue with installation unless you know what you are doing, and have made a backup very recently. This error may be caused by a conflict between the package you're trying to install and another package you have already installed, an error in the package, a package which requires another package that you don't have installed yet, or a package designed for another version of SMF.

Can you attach your QueryString.php?

Thanks for the effort, but I'm still seeing the same error. :(

I allready updated that file for you. Just continue with the installation.

Coon

I see... thanks!  It seemed to have installed just fine.  :)

Thanks!

I actually just noticed something.  When I go to the Members page I get this:

An Error Has Occurred!
Hacker?

Any thoughts?

Likewise, my Calender page shows:  Invalid year value.

Coon

Calendar issue fixed, but still nothing on Members.

... and do you have a corresponding error in the forum error log?  Give us a bit more info as to where you are trying to go when you get the error.  The profile page, member list, etc.?

Yes, the member list.  Here is the error from the log:

Apply Filter: Only show the error messages of this URL http://www.beyondfootball.com/forum/index.php?pretty;action=mlist
Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message
8: Undefined index: start
File: /home/admin/beyondfootball/forum/Sources/Memberlist.php
Line: 214

and

8: Undefined index: start
File: /home/admin/beyondfootball/forum/Sources/Memberlist.php
Line: 216

Attached is my memberlist.php file.

Ok, there's nothing wrong with that file as it wasn't touched by the upgrade to 1.1.13.  I took a look at the QueryString.php file that you are using and it appears that one line was missed that is most likely throwing that error.  Try the attached file and let me know if that clears up the error.
