Sending files between members online but without killing the bandwith. ::)

The attachments in IM thread would achieve this :)

Otherwise that's what ICQ etc are for (but apparantly not trillian - it never works on there for me :P)

Well, the attachments on IM would still use bandwidth tho.  If we're talking about peer to peer file transfer (ie: not use forums bandwidth), you can't really do that with PHP, it would require some type of client side program or script.

Maybe a send limit? or a size limit of somekind?
