Problem installing SMF 1.1.13

Hello, I have a problem installing SMF 1.1.13 I downloaded the "Full Install"  .tar.gz  and then I put it in my /var/www/ folder for Apache then I direct my web browser too 192.168.1.2/install.php and then I get pasted the first page "FTP connection" and then I get too the 2nd page where I name the forum and insert all MySQL info and then I click proceed and it just reloads the page with all the forms reset to what they showed before I edited them! There was no error that poped up, nothing. Could someone please explain how I could get around this? Thanks, Thomas

Use "localhost" instead of "192.168.1.2/install.php"
