How to change the code for email greeting, etc.

Hello,
I'm new to running a forum so I'm not certain which category this belongs to, but--

When I send email to others in group, the greeting is "hecko!"

For our group, that is not really appropriate but I can't find how to change it. I tried leaving off any greeting but I suppose it's set to add a greeting automatically, because I still get "Hecko!" at the beginning.

I've searched the places I know to look and the forum is set to english. But I'm still getting this greeting and I'm sure other items that inserted will be wrong also.
