error on installing SMF 2.0 RC4 Security Patch 1.0

Error in Package Installation
At least one error was encountered during a test installation of this package. It is strongly recommended that you do not continue with installation unless you know what you are doing, and have made a backup very recently. This error may be caused by a conflict between the package you're trying to install and another package you have already installed, an error in the package, a package which requires another package that you don't have installed yet, or a package designed for another version of SMF.

1. Execute Modification ./SSI.php Test failed
  1. Replace ./SSI.php Test failed
  2. Replace ./SSI.php Test successful

What do i do next?

you will have to manually edit that file to apply the patch to it.

I got that error, when I upgraded mine.

I just ignored it and everything went fine. As long as you backup, first, just in case, you should be OK.

Then, you can do the manual edit, if you want.

I didn't bother.

Just to save you looking for the edits, these are they, as it were:

Find:
