downgrade

Im using 2.0 RC5 i want to downgrade to RC3 how will i do it,

Why do you want to downgrade to an older version which has known bugs and security issues?

There is no way to downgrade except by replacing your forum files (except Settings.php and Settings_bak.php) with the ones from 2.0 RC3, but again, I highly recommend that you not do this.

If there is a particular mod you wish to use which isn't compatible with RC5, you can try to emulate RC3 (Admin -> Main -> Packages, click "Advanced" in the lower right-hand corner, enter 2.0 RC3 in the box and hit enter), or you can ask the mod author to upgrade it for you.

if there are database changes you cant just upload the files from the old version and expect it to work, it will not and there is no way to change the database to make it work with a version that has security issues.

the reason why i want to downgrade is there,s a Mod that doesnt fit from RC5 like the Hash Park shoutbox

then ask the mod author to update the mod to rc5.

Most of the mods will eventually be updated.  Some authors may be waiting till 2.0 goes gold though.  [quote

This might be your best option if you are in a hurry.
