I tried to automatically upgrade my forum to the latest software and got errors. Can you please help me install the upgrade properly?  I am not a whiz at php.

Installations actions for "SMF 1.0.19 / 1.1.11 Update":
17.   Execute Modification   ./Sources/Subs.php   Test failed

all the rest passed successfully

I can provide screenshots of anything you need to help me!

That usually means you had another mod that modified part of the code... if it's the 1.1.11 update, you installed maybe a mod that modifies links in some way. The mod will have to be uninstalled, then install the SMF update, then find an updated version of the mod.

Here is a list of all my installed packages.  Can you help me narrow it down?  I really don't want to uninstall all of them.

Is this issue solved or do you still require assistance?

It's almost certainly the nCode Image Resizer mod. Uninstall it and try the update again.

When I do that this error shows up

Type    Action    Description
1.    Execute Modification    ./Themes/default/index.template.php    Test successful
2.    Execute Modification    ./Themes/default/languages/Modifications.english.php    Test failed
3.    Execute Modification    ./Sources/ModSettings.php    Test successful
4.    Execute Modification    ./Sources/Subs.php    Test successful
5.    Delete File    ./Themes/default/ncode_imageresizer.js

Arantor

You can safely ignore that error. All it means is there will be a little harmless code left over in Modifications.english.php after.

awesome it worked!

Can I safely reinstall that resize mod you had me remove?

Arantor

You need to get a new version of the mod that's compatible with the changes made in 1.1.11 to images for security purposes.
