Members can't edit there profiles

None of my members can edit there profiles. It just displays a blank page...

I tried replacing the original profile files in case some mod messed it up. That didn't fix the problem.

Logged into the site.

Clicked "Edit profile".

Everything worked, perfectly.

Seems to work fine on mozilla firefox, maybe its a browser compatability issue with the theme or a mod have you tried all browsers

Have you tried uninstalling Pretty URLs and see if it works.

Thats the default SMF theme. We recoded the header and I recoded the index.template file.


I'll try uninstalling pretty-url's now and give that a whirl. I also use FireFox and my profile's still dont work with pretty urls.

hmm what firefox version because i havent updated mine in a while  and beta 4's out so that could have a few bugs with viewing things in it

It was something to do with the pretty url's which majorly sucks. I like pretty url's. there great for SEO but at least my members can edit there profiles.

pretty urls are actually better for your members to look at than for the robots to index the site.  Google does just fine without it.

Can you not use Search engine friendly URLs in the admin panel.

Just to add to the fun...

I can do everything that I ought to be able to do, there, except, if I click "Forum Profile", I get a blank page.

yeah thats the only thing that happens. happens for every user. only problem wrong with entire forum.. ;\

PrettyURLs may have left something that's still causing this.

I have to say... I hate that mod.
