I just upgraded from 1.1.11 to 1.1.13. Now I must install all the mods again.
They work once they are installed, but the [apply mod] link is still there instead of a [remove mod] link that should be there...
I have overwritten the installed.list again after the upgrade, maybe CHMOD the installed.list helps? to which value?
How do I uninstall the already installed mods?

selmiak

hey, you again :)
nope, I'm using a custom made theme. But it worked before with this theme.

Are they showing, if you use the default, though?

(Narrows things down, a bit).

installed.list. Try CHMOD 777.

CHMOD 777 did the trick. But now the other mods are installed and not recognized... so I can't uninstall them. Can I just add this manually to the installed.list or should I rather overwrite the source files the mods modify again and install again?

kat

Depends.

Are you likely to want to uninstall them?

If not, why worry? ;)

Just thinking out-loud, here...

The backup that you took, before upgrading...

Is there a installed.list in the backup?

Have you tried copying that back? (I'm kinda assuming you have, from you saying "I have overwritten the installed.list again after the upgrade").

Other than that, are the files inside the packages directory read-enabled?

There're files in the "Backups" directory, inside "Packages"?

If so, are those read-enabled?
