SMF LOGO

okay so i created a logo in PS(Photoshop) and i added a transparent background and saved it as a jpg, little did i know that jpg's do not support transparency(or so i was told).
So i saved the image as a png and my background to the image i had created is now transparent, but here is the problem. my theme is loading for a jpg image and i need it to load a png.
which file do i open to change that? any help would be greatly appreciated.
