automatic response

i searched a lot in admin panel but i am not able to find the settings.
i know this is silly question but , i need it..
sorry yo ask such a question
i want options for two things...

1-Automatic email to users that they have got reply to the thread they created or they replied on any thread..
2-Automatic email to users that they have got pm on the forum whenever they got pm...


again sorry to ask such a question, i know there is option in the admin panel, but i am not able to find it ..

My forum automatically do this, Does your email system work?

yeah it wrks fine.....

it sends all the other mails.....

i think this need to be done from the admin settings ..
i just don't know the settings

They set both of those in their profile, under "Notifications".

I'm glad I'm not one of your members, dictating how I should view your forum...

Anyway, Admin>Themes>Member Options.

Click on "Change current options for all members using this theme" and you'll find that option, there.

You'll need to do that for all themes, if you want to force this upon all of your members.
