How can I change the logo on the default theme? I would like to upload my own one.

Why on default. I mean u can change it but it's better to find a custom theme and then modify it cause this will not look nice.

On the other themes not all mods are working so I would like to change logo and colours on a default one. Is there a way?

Can you give me some example how should this link look like. I upload an image via imageshack and upload it to the site.

something like http://www.augk18.dsl.pipex.com/gollum.gif to be sure it is correct you should be able to put it in img tags and view the image in a post as well like this

That how exactly the image looks like that's why I can't understand what is the problem. Is it important that it should end with .gif or it doesn't matter?

it should not matter, you can also find the logo in the css and change the path/name to the image that way.

Why put it on ImageShack?

I put mine on my forum, so I don't have to rely on ImageShack.

If you put it in the root of your site, the URL would be something like http://www.yourforum.com/logo.gif

Maybe the SMF one?

If it's just that, changing it's a doddle.

Just replace themes/default/images/smflogo.gif with your own.

Should I upload my own one here themes/default/images/smflogo.gif and then change the name? I would like to use .jpg because it makes resolution better.

The resolution?

You can have as high a res with gif as you can with jpg.

Plus, you can have transparency and fewer colours (Smaller filesize), too.

I need to remove the SMF logo on the right hand side and replace that with a gif that was there before I upgraded to the 1.1.13 database. I forgot the file that it is is, I believe in the default theme. Anyone remember how and where to change that?

How do I delete the Simple Machines logo on the default SMF theme?

Hey Arantor,

Where are the images kept, I had changed it and renamed it to SMFlogo, and need to restore the image from the image from last nights backup?
