How do I Add a menu bar link?

I'm trying to add a menu bar link back to our main site. I'm using the Enterprise 1.1 theme. I've tried a few modifications that were made to do this, 2 had been deprecated (I still tried them) and the other wasn't compatible with smf 1.1.13, so I'm out of ideas. I can't really upgrade my SMF presently due to my forum bridge application compatibility. I"m using JFusion on a Joomla site.

I've not idea how to add it manually. Can anyone point me in the right direction to accomplishing this?

*Edit - I did find in the index.template.php where it adds buttons. Here's one example;

Just not sure what to put to add a button.

I managed to get this mod working; http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1402 by adding some code into my template index.template.php as the author noted. But I've still got an issue as you can see in the picture below. My menu item is appearing above the menu bar. Soooo close

try this one, if it doesn't work, please post the url and name of your button and we will add it manually to your file

please check my index.template.php as attached, although i managed to create the "forum" button but i cant link it. please help.
