Upgrade to 1.1ß3 trouble with missing tables

Upgrading a rarely used forum from SMF 1.0 to SMF 1.1 beta3, I had some trouble with the upgrade script, because there were no smf_log_search and smf_sessions tables which could be dropped and rebuilt by the script. I solved this by creating empty tables via phpMyAdmin, but I think it would be better to adjust the upgrade.php for this case.
