Is there a way to have my forum bits and pieces located in a folder, that won't change the URL address??

Eg:

main forum: host.com
Additional forums: host.com/a; host.com/b etc.

So, in the FTP it would be like

mainforums folder
a
b

But I don't want it to be "host.com/mainforum" to get to it.

Does that make any sense??

I want the 'main forums' folder to be "invisible", if you will, while putting everything in it's own place, rather than scattered amongst the other forum folders and so such.

Is this possible?

do you mean you are running more then one "forum" and you want all of them to have invisible access that is not based on the url? I dont see how this is really possible. Or do you mean you have one forum with several "boards" on it and you want to rewrite the url used to get to each board?

I think you can use redirects in Cpanel to do this, by redirecting host.com/ -> host.com/mainforum/.

I've not tried this but thats what I would look at first if I wanted to.
