Hello Dear Community,

We have reasontly switched webhost and get the RC5, then i took a backup from the old webhost(RC4) and applied it to the new one, witch worked great, but some of the posts are not shoing up, well they are but they are empty, and it seems to be quote related, as its only the posts with quotes in it. Now we have tested if the quote funtion works and it does, but still wont show the old ones. so we tried to delete the old ones and make them again, and copy/paste the old text in, still wont work, neither will removing quotes. any ideas?

edit: tried the repair_settings.php, and fixed a lot of errors, but still not the quote problem.

Edit: works with double quoting the post.

Edit: Didnt work afterall, for some reason it showed it, but it disapeerd after a while

Thanks in advance

You have to have an account to view. Can you create a test account or enable guest viewing? Do you have any errors in your forum error log?

Did you have any issues moving your data over?

You can make a backup from the AdminCP under Forum Maintenance, however there is no restore, so my question would still be what method did you use to restore your backup? :)
