How do I find the folder on my server this image is in? http://www.nzjetboating.com/yabbse/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=21209.0;attach=40877;image

I am in the process of moving my forum to a new server and seem to be missing some images, but I cant work out where they are?

My attachments directory is set to /home/webnz/public_html/nzjetboating/yabbse/attachments but the newest file in there is 14430_DSC01252a_jpg3bd43ac6e0716fd57b6c4b38a5604b52

As far as I can establish this is an image in topic 14430, and I'm missing all the images from then on.

That image should be in your Attachments folder in your theme directory.

Illori

there is no attachments folder in any theme directory.

Couldn't find any in there. Thanks for your reply.

Hi Clark, which version SMF are you using? SMF 2.0 allows for multiple attachment folders.

Can you see the files if you go into the Admin CP > Attachments and Avatars > Browse Files?

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

Hi Kays,

I'm running 1.1.13 and yes i can see that image in "browse files"

I'm not sure how to locate that file on my server, could it somehow be inside my database?

Kays

They all should be in the same folder. Normally the "Attachments" folder at the root of your forums.

How many attachments do you have? Some FTP clients don't show more than the first thousand or so.

Thanks Kays, you are correct, I had to change to a SFTP connection to view the rest of my files. Problem solved.  :)

Kays

Cool, glad that did it. :)

I'll mark this as solved then.
