Shades.

When I tried to upgrade my forum to rc5 I get this error!

QuoteParse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/*****/public_html/Settings.php on line 62

When I go to my sites regular url I also get this error:

QuoteStrict Standards: require_once() [function.require-once]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. Please use the date.timezone setting, the TZ environment variable or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /home/*****/public_html/Settings.php on line 62

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/shades/public_html/Settings.php on line 62

I have tried uploading a new settings.php file but still get the above errors...please help!

While repair_settings.php is a useful tool I doubt it will resolve the parse error. Seeing the actual settings file is likely to be more productive for this user.

Shades.

I figured it out! The settings were not correct for the cache directory. I put in the correct path to my cache dir and re-uploaded the setting.php file and everything is working now!

Thanks for the help! 8)
