Okay so, I'm new at this, and I am also new in this board. :)
So far, have I had a little help from some friends of mine, to install SMF 1.1.13 (.zip) into my website which is a fansite.
I have uploaded and opened the file into my host, and I had a bit help from a video on YouTube on how to install it. But when I open a new browser and type in "myfansite.com/forum/install.php" do I get my own site, with a page saying "Oops. Sorry no matching posts".
My friends who's better at installing than I am have looked at it, and they can't find a thing I did wrong, and most of them says it must be an error in the .php file or something.

Is it possible to get some help?

Did you download the SMF files from the SMF website?

Start by posting a link to your site would help. A screenshot if a url is not available.

My website: hxxp:fabulousgrabeel.net [nonactive] which would then be hxxp:fabulousgrabeel.net/forum/install.php [nonactive]
Screenshot of my cPanel (the folder I placed it in) hxxp:i52.tinypic.com/2a9e5wg.jpg [nonactive]
Tutorial I used: hxxp:www.youtube.com/watch?v=GO-PrsbdNHc [nonactive] together with the guide they wrote at the website here (currently, I have forgotten where I found it, so can't link it)

Sorry for the late reply.

Try changing the directory name from "Forum", to "forum".

On the net, case IS important.

To see what I mean, click this-> http://fabulousgrabeel.net/Forum/install.php

you may find http://lowfatlinux.com/linux-filenames.html helpful to read so you can learn a bit more about linux servers and how they handle files/folders names.

Thank you so much! It helped, and I got further and completed the installation. :D
Lol, I never really thought of how letters can affect stuff, but I guess I'll watch out for that in the future. :)

Problem solved, I guess.
