Cant delete board

Hello there.

I have a problem - i cant delete one board with id 81, when i try to do that i just got white page.
There is no logs in error log, and "fix and repair errors" shows that everything is fine, no errors reporter there too.
Forum version 2.0RC5, just upgraded from 1.1.12 with large upgrade with no errors.
I also couldnt remove the same board in 1.1.12 version.

Note that all other boards can be removed without problems.

Any suggesions please?

is there anything special about this board? name? description? can you link us to said board so we can look at it?

There is nothing special with that board imo, title and description is just simple short text, with no html or smth.
Also, board have no posts, but on forum index i can see this:


So, there is no posts, but it shows some old post in last posts column. Dont know if that matters.

what happens when you attempt to delete the board?

As i said, i just got white page with no text or nothing. Nothing in error log too. No mods installed.

can you edit the board at all? if not can you modify each member group and just make that board not visible?

Just a hunch...

Try renaming it, and/or moving it somewhere.

Can you do that?

If so, can you, then, delete it?

I can modify and move board. I just moved it and rename it, and it still cant be deleted. :s

If all else fails...

Backup your database.

Right click on the board's link and copy the URL.

Paste it, and you'll see the board ID number.

Go to phpmyadmin, in your site's CPanel.

Click the name of the database, in the left pane.

Again in the left pane, scroll down to smf_boards and click on it.

Find the board's ID in the column headed "ID_BOARD".

Check the box, to the left of that.

Click on the red cross, to the right of that.

Board should now be gone.

Anything gets screwed, restore the database that you backed-up.

Thank you guys that do the trick.
Ive delete it from phpMyAdmin, and run fix and repair errors that gave me:
The following errors are fouling up your forum:
    Board #81 is marked as read for one or more people, but does not exist.
I just click on fix button, and everything is fine now.
Dont know what coused this issue, but it is fine now, thanks once again!

ouch, it isnt solved still
When i done as you suggested ive run mainteance and it shows some missing ids and i clicked on "fix" and forum created a board with id 83, with just about 3000 posts named "Salvage board" or smth, and now i cant delete that board at all. The problem is still there, and i cant see what problem is, still nothing in error log.

WOW! Weird, or what?

Another couple of hunches... and these are pure hunches, no more, I'm afraid.

Do you have a recycle bin board?

If not, try creating one and see if that helps.

It shouldn't make any difference, I would imagine.

Knowing what the interwebz is like, though, you never know.

Or, perhaps, do the phpmyadmin thing, again, then repair the database from CPanel, rather than within SMF?
