Message not display after post

Here is the issue - when a message is posted, instead of displaying the newly posted message the page will keep runing/loading until time-out but if the forum is refresh, you will actually see that the message is posted and display ok.
Pls help with this error on my forum.

what version of smf are you running? what mods do you have installed? does this happen on more then one browser?

am running SMF 2.0 RC5 and installed Pretty URLs and Welcome Topic Mod. mods
it does happen on more than one browser

try to disable/uninstall pretty urls and see if the issue still happens. it might not hurt to also put in a support request with your host and ask them to look into the issue.

I unstalled pretty urls & the problem got solved
I wish to try the pretty url mod topic may I can get a fix as I will like to keep using the mod
