Hi all

Im using smf 2.0rc5 with danish language and default Them.
Om thinking of changing theme. But can I keep my language if I change theme? And shall I manual install all mods then ? What about the core variations will they be easier to use than others ?

Normaly you shouldn't have any problem with your languages using another theme.

About installing MOD's, it depend on the MOD. The most MODS will install properly (don't forget to tick the Themes you want the MOD installed in). Sometimes you'll have to make manual modifications but only to the Theme files, all other files will be installed as normal.

Please, don't PM me for support unless invited.
If you don't understand this, you will be blacklisted.

Once you have installed the modifications and later you decide to change the theme, the modifications will not automatically get installed into the new theme. You will have to manually install them or reinstall them and tick the themes you want it to install automatically during the Package installation process.

The language should stay the same unless there are any customized language strings within the /language folder.

(Exactly what capady said but with a little more details. :))
